Refund Policy

At Modula (a registered trademark of Ayena Innovation Private Limited, hereinafter referred to as “the Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), we are committed to delivering precision-engineered steel modular kitchens. Since all components are custom-fabricated to suit the specific requirements and dimensions of your home, refunds are processed strictly in accordance with the stages of the customer journey.
1. Eligibility for Refunds by Stage
Refund eligibility is governed by the payment and execution stages of the project:
- Stage 1: Booking (10% of Estimated Project Value): Refund is eligible subject to graded cancellation charges:
- Within 48 Hours: 100% refund of the booking amount. However, if site measurement has been conducted, a site measurement charge of ₹2,400 + GST shall be deducted.
- Between 48 Hours and 7 Days: Refund is issued after deducting a design consultancy fee of ₹9,999 + GST or 2% of the total order value (whichever is higher), alongside site measurement charges (if applicable).
- Between 7 Days and 30 Days (or before final Design Sign-off): Refund is issued after deducting 50% of the order booking amount (equivalent to 5% of the estimated project value).
- After 30 Days or after final Design Sign-off: The booking payment becomes completely non-refundable.
- Stage 2: Design Sign-off: Additional payment bringing the cumulative paid amount to 50% of the finalized project value. Upon sign-off, custom material fabrication commences immediately. All payments made up to and during this stage are strictly non-refundable.
- Stage 3: Pre-dispatch (Remaining 50% Payment): All payments are strictly non-refundable.
2. Damaged or Defective Components
We execute stringent quality audits at our factory. In the unlikely event that any component is delivered in a damaged, defective, or incorrect state:
- Free Replacement: The Company shall replace the specific damaged or defective part free of cost.
- Reporting Period: Any defect or damage must be reported to our installation team or via email within 48 hours of delivery or commencement of installation.
- No Cash Refunds: We do not offer cash refunds or project-value deductions for damaged components; our liability is strictly limited to the replacement of the affected part to complete the installation as per the design agreement.
3. Refund Processing Timeline
All approved refunds will be processed back to the original source of payment (bank account, credit/debit card, or digital wallet) used during the transaction.
Refunds will be processed and credited within thirty (30) days of receipt of a valid and approved refund request.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund during the eligible Booking Stage window, please submit a written request containing your booking receipt and order number to care@modula.in.
