Cancellation Policy

At Modula (a registered trademark of Ayena Innovation Private Limited, hereinafter referred to as “the Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), we aim to provide high-quality modular kitchen solutions tailored to your unique spaces. Because each order is custom-fabricated based on specific site measurements, layouts, and finish preferences, cancellation requests are governed strictly by the stages of the customer journey as outlined below.
1. Customer Journey & Payment Stages
Our fulfillment process is structured into three distinct stages. The availability of cancellations and refunds is determined solely by the active stage of your order:

2. Cancellation Charges and Graded Refund Timelines (Stage 1: Booking)
If an order is cancelled during the Booking Stage (prior to Design Sign-off), the following graded cancellation fees and refund policies shall apply:
- Within 48 Hours of Booking:
No cancellation charges shall be levied. However, in the event that the site measurement process has already been initiated or completed, a flat site measurement charge of ₹2,400 + GST shall be deducted from the booking amount. - After 48 Hours but before 7 Days of Booking:
A design consultancy fee equivalent to ₹9,999 + GST or 2% of the total order value (whichever is higher), along with site measurement charges (if applicable), shall be deducted from the booking amount. The remaining balance, if any, shall be refunded within thirty (30) days of receipt of a valid refund request. - After 7 Days but before 30 Days of Booking, or before final Design Sign-off (whichever is earlier):
A design consultation fee equivalent to 50% of the booking amount (equating to 5% of the estimated project value) shall be deducted. The remaining balance of the booking amount shall be refunded within thirty (30) days. - After 30 Days of Booking or after final Design Sign-off (whichever is earlier):
The order becomes completely locked in. No refund or cancellation shall be permissible under any circumstances.
3. Modification of Orders
Modifications to the layout, configuration, colors, finishes, or appliance selection may only be accommodated prior to final Design Sign-off. Any modification requested after the Design Sign-off (Stage 2) may attract additional charges for material wastage, re-engineering, and production delay.
4. How to Initiate a Cancellation
To request a cancellation during the eligible windows of Stage 1 (Booking), please write to us at care@modula.in with your order confirmation number, payment receipts, and the reason for cancellation. All cancellations will be processed and acknowledged in writing by the Company.
